RE/MAX is born. Dave and Gail Liniger, two 20-somethings from Denver, Colorado, decide to develop a new real estate concept. They created RE/MAX – an acronym for “real estate maximums” – a system that encourages quality real estate salespeople to realise and develop their outstanding business potential.

RE/MAX achieves 38.1% average market share in Western Canada.
RE/MAX continues its upward growth trend and can now be found in 38 countries with more than 69,000 sales associates in over 4,000 offices worldwide.
RE/MAX Canada contributes $2.2 million to Children’s Miracle Network. The 200th office opens and the 4500th Sales Associate joins.
RE/MAX launches new technology allowing agents to track and manage leads, as well as an online design tool to help create unique marketing materials.
RE/MAX has the most productive sales force in the industry and a global reach of more than 80 countries. RE/MAX has raised more than $100 million for charity.
